We loved the place due to its big surrounding garden, which is stunning and beautifully taken care of, and the team there which is super welcoming. The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

We loved living in the jungle! The view from the bungalow was green and calming. The staff were warm and very helpful. Breakfast area lovely and food good. It was a nice sanctuary after a busy day. The entire property was magnificent, lush vgetation, expertly landscaped. The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

I forgot to take pictures, but the lodge was absolutely gorgeous, and our room had all that you needed for visiting Cahuita. Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. La Rana de Cahuita is a beautiful eco-lodge. The bungalows are very private and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a porch with a hammock. The pool is a great place to cool off after a day of exploring, and the breakfast is delicious and includes fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, and coffee. The owners of La Rana de Cahuita are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with various tropical plants and animals. The location is excellent, close to the beach and the Cahuita National Park.

The lodge was so beautiful - the indoor outdoor living, the care taken to the garden, the space in general. Away from the chaos of puerto viejo but and easy drive into town if needed. Great recommendations from the hosts who were the loveliest couple that provided us with information about the area, fresh fruit, and a sense of immediate comfort. Waking up and seeing animals everyday was an added bonus!

Finca Chica offers accommodation in Puerto Viejo. Cahuita is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Very cute and clean. The owner is very kind. It’s nice and quiet.
