Boasting an outdoor pool and a hot tub, La Finca Lodge is located in Fortuna, 35 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Complimentary WiFi is available. This place was the equivalent of heaven on earth. I would consider just buying a ticket to Costa Rica to spend a week here and enjoy total peace and relaxation. Our room was big, with a huge balcony that had two chairs and a hammock. The view is amazing. The place feels so safe that you can sleep with the big windows fully open and be woken up by the horses eating grass outside your window. The WiFi worked great. The shower was huge and with water flowing very well. The location is a big farm so you can even go walk and see dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, anything. They have a swimming pool and a hot tub that you can use anytime you want. They also offer paid laundry service and they have a restaurant. Breakfast was also included and it was great. The hosts and waiters are all really kind and accommodating. Each room has a private parking spot right outside the room. I mean, I could go on for days about how great this place is. My girlfriend and I almost cried when we had to leave. This place is just so great. Do yourself a favor: if you have a car, avoid staying in La Fortuna and stay here. You'll love it.

Beautiful chalet, secluded enough to see monkeys and beautiful birds but close enough to town and to Parque Volcan Tenorio to make it convenient. Hosts were very kind and clearly willing to work on any single detail to make the stay enjoyable (a bottle of rose as a gift upon arrival, games for kids, a full well equipped kitchen... nothing was missing). I highly recommend the place.

Very private and safe cabin with stunning volcano views. The cabin is well equipped with everything you would need for meals. Nohelia, Jay, and their team have truly created a corner of paradise. They are exceptional hosts who make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. It's clear how much effort, love, and passion they pour into everything they do. They take the time to genuinely connect with their guests and go above and beyond to cater to individual needs. The meals are a highlight—delicious, healthy, and hearty, made with fresh ingredients sourced directly from their garden. Every bite feels homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The lodge itself is a stunning blend of a forest and a botanical garden, teeming with wildlife, especially birds. It's a nature lover's dream. I highly recommend the night tour with Jay—it’s an unforgettable experience. Nohelia is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and Costa Rica as a whole, always ready to offer helpful tips and advice. One thing to note: the lodge is accessible only with a 4WD vehicle, as the last 3 kilometers of the road are quite rough. However, the journey is absolutely worth it. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Ecolodge Cecropia. If I could, I’d rate it 200%. Nohelia and Jay are truly wonderful hosts, and they’ve created a magical place that’s not to be missed.

The house offered a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and lush green surroundings. The spacious yard was perfect for morning workouts. The bathroom was very well-equipped and roomy. We also made good use of the laundry facilities, which allowed us to take care of our laundry during our stay.
