The lovely owner was very responsive, with clear communication on how to find the cabin. There is quite a steep drive up but it is manageable and worth it when you get to the top. The firewood and fire was great and little kitchenette and large fridge were perfect for cooking meals. Lago Ranco is very close and has a large supermarket and fruit grocers to stock up on before you arrive.

Set in Panguipulli, only 2km from the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve, Patagonia Mawida offers private self-catering bungalows with a terrace. Great place to stay! As described it is a cabin. No internet, no TV just a secluded place. We enjoyed the stay very much and would recommend it to anyone looking to be off the grid for a day or more
