We were excited for this stay and we everything turned out exactly as we hoped; great room with good bed and amenities, and an amazing view. It takes some time driving around the lake to get there but it’s totally worth it. You stay in the middle of the vineyards and the staff is very friendly. Great sunsets too!

A private entrance and deck with sea views lead to every suite at Lodge Himwitsa. Guests can relax on the sofa bed in the living room and watch the satellite TV. We loved the location. The dock front was lively but very peaceful. Watching the sunset from our balcony was quite a great. This is a family run business with lots of attention to detail. They made us feel very welcome and special.

The property features guided hiking tours and canoe rentals. Free WiFi is available in the main lodge and most rooms. Loved our stay here felt very at home and the staff were very helpful. Had a meal here and the food was incredible
