12 km from Cachoeira do Escorrega, Monte Mauá Chalés is a recently renovated property set in Visconde De Maua and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The room was a great size and tastefully decorated. There was a small kitchen area but it was well-equipped and easy to use to cook simple meals. The balcony was a wonderful feature and the hammock was a treat - loved it. Communication with the host was excellent and the host was very accommodating and helpful. The chalet is in a beautiful location and it’s easy to drive to the waterfalls and Pedra Selada from there.
