I had a wonderful four days in Salvaterra. Marcia is a great host and goes out of her way to take care of your every needs. I really enjoyed the tours with her to learn more about the Amazonian way of life, flora and fauna. Swimming in the mangroves was paradise. The accommodation is very relaxed and has all that you need including perfectly working AC (powered by solar PV). Breakfast is really nice with a different cake and selection of fruits every morning. And do not miss to have dinner there. The moqueca is fabulous :-)

I don't normally give 10/10, but this chalé deserves it! The host was extremely kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, as well as helpful in answering questions about nearby activities and restaurants, and was easy to communicate with. The property was very well equipped, especially the outdoor kitchen. The bed was super comfy and the rare hot shower was extremely welcome! I would 100% love to stay again and would highly recommend.
