Doug from the swinging gate vineyard was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the wines during our tasting . He also delivered Puzzas to our Domescope to enjoy with his fabulous wine , sitting outside around the fire pit ,under the stars . It was perfect !!!!!!!

Sheep and goats to watch. Great outdoor area.

There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. Perfect, just perfect, you could not wish for a better place to stay, extremely comfortable, everything you could possibly need as a traveller provided for in the apartment, great bed and shower, and lovely views of birds feeding in the morning. Hosts were super friendly too, a real pleasure for us to stay here and a great location if exploring the Tasman national Park and not too far to Richmond and Hobart.

Thanks very much for her travel tips and her excellent hospitality service. My wife and I spent two unforgettable nights here. The unique location there allows us to experience the quiet atmosphere and to live in the nature with wild animals hanging around just outside the lodge. We also saw the spectacular view of lake and mountains, beautiful sunset and galaxy at night. These two nights definitely will be at our heart forever.

A barbecue is available on site and both hiking and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of Maydena Mountain Cabins. Just the location of the cabin itself was wonderful. It was a peaceful neighbourhood. Loved that place. Would definitely recommend and will go back some time again in future for sure.

Iron House Brewery is 10-minutes' drive away. Free private parking is available on site. Amazing view Gorgeous decor, bathroom Very clean Great suggestions in manual by owner. Really enjoyed my morning walk along the water line as recommended by owner.

A fantastic couple of days in beautiful Bruny Island in a beautiful house. Everything was perfect and exactly what we needed after 4 days hiking the Three Capes.
