The slab hut I stayed in had a lot of character and unique and was very comfortable. Location to town very convenient although guests I met or staff often offered a lift to/from town. Longreach has been a bucket list visit for some time and certainly did not disappoint.

There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Super large apartment with everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom. Quiet location (except for the birds), comfy bed, back porch, front and back windows provided good ventilation, 2 ceiling fans to help with cooling. Great location within walking distance of everything in arcadia. We had a car, but most places on the island you could get to by local bus or 15-20 minute walk. Pool was cool and refreshing.
