This was my second visit to the Lodge. I enjoyed it the first time (a couple of years ago) but, if anything, it was even better this time round. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and extremely good value. The pool was lovely (actually, there seem to be three of them!) The evening meal (a la carte) was delicious, the bar was lovely and the breakfast (included in the accommodation fee) was amazing: a buffet with a massive choice of fresh and cooked ingredients, juice, cereal, tea and coffee. I went for a short walk in the evening and immediately encountered two giraffes and a kudu cow, and then, two minutes later a pair of bushbuck. There was plenty of spoor around too - notably that of zebra (which I saw on my last trip), and the frog and bird calls were lovely. Vervet monkeys come into the accommodation area so you'll almost certainly see these on your visit. Added to all this, the staff were great!

It’s a super cute little cabin in the mountains. The owner made sure we received a good description how to get there although we had booked on an extremely short note. The outdoor kitchen was very well equipped and a really nice surprise.

A wonderful oasis in the Magoebaskloof mountains. Perfect place to break the long drive from Kruger to Oliver Tambo airport and celebrate my husband’s birthday. Anders and Douglas were wonderful hosts (you need to hear the story about he python and the dog!). Dinner was sublime. We should have done 2 nights not one to truly bask in the piece and beauty of Graceland.

Die tente is absoluut fantasties. Ons het in die hitte van December daar gebly. Die tente is toegerus met aircons, yskaste en alle eetgery wat jy nodig het. Die eienaars is so gasvry dat ons soms by Die groot firepit gesit en kuier het. Die bos badkamers was uit die wêreld gewees. Oop lug stort en toilet geriewe ,iets wat n groot plus punt was. Ons het n wild rit geboek, waar Ons heelwat diere gesien het. Die cheetahs (jagluiperd) was Ons hoogte punt. Gaan verseker weer daar boek. Dankie aan almal van Sable creek Safari lodge.
