Cabins in Pilanesberg

Well maintained lodge. Quality of meals. Helpful staff. Rangers tried their best to enable a good viewing experience for the guests. The entire team is well organised and co-ordinated. It’s a lodge with cabins spread out over a large area - hence it could take up to 5 minutes walk to get to your cabin … guests should not expect hotel like facilities.

An overall great experience with extremely friendly staff. Nice food mostly served at the table which added to the exclusive experience of the place. Really well equipped cabins with outdoor showers. My son very impressed with the wifi even if our cabin was located quite far away from the main building. Last but not least mostly great safari drives. We managed to get on five fine drives in total during our stay. Didn't get to see all of the big five though. But still an amazing experience for us being first time on a safari lodge.

This is a really large property for an all inclusive safari experience, but the staff still manage to deliver great service that is remarkably personal. Very comfortable rooms. Air conditioning makes all the difference in the current heat wave. Proper sized bathrooms with doors and an outdoor shower. Good quality toiletries. Beautifully cleaned rooms with barely any bugs, which is a wonder for chalets located in the bush.

Shepherds Tree is a true luxury bush experience. I loved the plunge pool in our private chalet and the outdoor shower is a great.
