Nambiti hills was an amazing experience for myself and my partner. We were fortunate enough to experience incredible sightseeing during our game drives with our guide Joe who was extremely experienced. All the staff were so kind and friendly, and the food was both healthy and delicious. Its truly a little gem.

This was an incredible experience. We had Brent as our game driver and he was knowledgable and ensured we had a fun time. Our family suite was spacious, cozy and impeccably clean. Every meal, and even every snack, was great. We had the most lovely experience here and we cannot recommend it enough.

This was an amazing stop on our honeymoon. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as it rained both days, but it was a great place to disconnect from everything and relax. The property is very nicely appointed with everything you need to stay in and cook, amazing wildlife around the river. We did a hike and saw the giraffe’s in the adjacent park which was a highlight of the trip.

Nambiti Plains is outstanding. It's luxurious but relaxed and comfortable at the same time. The rooms are exquisite and attention to detail is superb from the moment you arrive. Excellent food and service. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our game guide, JP, was great. He is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and made our drives fun and interesting. We were celebrating an engagement and the staff went out of their way to make it a special occasion. Nambiti Game reserve itself has excellent game and an interesting and varied terrain. The Lions Valley Lodge is nothing less than fantastic! You get so well-accomodated here and in personal and friendly way it is i real treat. And the Nambiti Game Reserve has everything you can expect in terms of wildlife viewing and, very important, a great variation of habitats (savannah, bushveld, gorges, rivers, waterfall, ponds, and waterholes) you never get bored during the safari tours, which include 2x3 hours per day, one starting at sunrise (05.00 am) and the other in late afternoon. The guides know everything about the animals behaviour and will keep you safe in all instances - wildlife is at your doorstep meaning no free and unsupervised walks are allowed! The lodge staff offers great service and the food (full pension is mandatory) is delicious, you cannot ask for more.
