Huy is an amazing host. He gave us a lot of advice to visit Phong nah. The place is beautiful with amazing views. The room is quite basic, and the breakfast is local and healthy :-) I recommend it if you're traveling on a budget !

We stayed at Commander Lodge for two non-consecutive nights, before and after our jungle tour with OxalisTour. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the swimming pool available for guests is also very nice. The staff was extremely kind — they allowed us to check in early at 7 a.m. after a sleepless night on a dreadful sleeping bus, washed our clothes and shoes very quickly on both occasions, and even contacted a scooter rental for us so we could explore Phong Nha. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Phong Nha for one or more nights.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Phong Nha, Jungle Boss Travel Lodge is a homestay surrounded by views of the garden.

The most wonderful location for a homestay, the view is amazing! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpfull and provides scooter rental, laundry and free bikes. They even dropped us of at the bus stop :) The breakfast is included and good. They serve dinner as well for a good price. The surrounding highlights are easily accessible from the location.

The Palm Lodge is a lovely new hostel right in the center of Phong Nha. It only opened a few weeks ago, and you can really feel how passionate the owner, Hung, is about his place! Hung and his staff genuinely care about your well-being and always make sure you feel at home. On top of that, they run a small restaurant where you can enjoy delicious local dishes – everything I tried was fresh and tasty! If you need help booking tours or rentals, they’re more than happy to assist and give helpful advice. All in all, I had a great stay at The Palm Lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Phong Nha!

We had a mountain and river facing room, which was extremely quiet and had an unparalleled view. The breakfast was hearty and tasty. Even when we had to leave at 7 am for a cave tour, Long and Lan made sure we have breakfast. They took care of everything for us - local recommendations, tours, buses, and anything else we needed. Our shoes broke so they got us super glue from the market! They made sure laundry was timely and well-done at a reasonable price. The cycles were free and in really good condition as well. We loved it so much here, we extended our stay by 2 nights. On our last night, they graciously invited us to their family dinner - this was the most homely experience for us in Vietnam! Highly recommend!
