To me that was the extreme highlight if we are talking about accomodation on my trip through Uganda. - It is direclty located at the Victoria lake! - I was at this time the only guest and got an upgrade w/o extra payment. I had a large room, more like an appartment - first floor, living room with 2 (!) sofas (no TV - not necessary, outside it is much more interesting! - Believe it!) - - small kitchen, nice bathroom, second floor sleeping room, one singel bed, one doulbe bed. good matress, 230 Volt plus local 120 Volt (!) Froom the sleeping room as well as from the living room, direct view onto Victoria lake! - Large garden with an artifical pool plus a nature pool! - Very good breakfast, very good international kitchen a la carte! - Luckily the monkeys - approx. 20 (!) were around - which are living right and left from the hotel in the mangroves. - To me it is a very must go for 2 days and 2 nights!

The room was perfect and the view was lovely. Breakfast was amazing. They even have a cappucino machine. Dinner was nice, too. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's ideal if you have events in Munyonyo.

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
