Very nice accommodation on the island. Easily accessible and has a good location close to Matira beach. Francesca was so helpful and sweet to us, she helped us arrange the activities during our stay and helped us rent a scooter. Thank you so much! We will return!

We had the most wonderful stay at Tiki Ora Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Francesca and Patrick made us feel so welcome – they are truly the kindest and loveliest people you’ll ever meet. Their warmth and hospitality made our trip even more special. Our accommodation was perfect – clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained with thoughtful little touches throughout. We especially loved the private outdoor area at the back, and well as the deck out the front where we ate in the evening.The air conditioning and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. We also a fantastic time renting bikes from them and exploring Vaitape and Matira Beach – such a fun way to see the island! One of the highlights of our trip was a boat tour recommended by Francesca, which included diving in the lagoon, visiting a motu (private island), enjoying traditional food, and even making our own pareos (sarongs). It was truly unforgettable. Take our advice – if Francesca recommends something, go for it!

The accommodation was modern, fresh, and very clean - it felt cool and comfortable thanks to great AC, and it was reassuringly free of any tropical bugs or creatures! The pool area was beautiful, with lush greenery and a high-end feel. It even smelled lovely thanks to all the plants, and it was a really nice space to relax. Patrick, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He offered drinks by the pool (we were given a juice and a beer - a really kind touch!), and he went out of his way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. One evening, he offered to take us and a couple of other guests to the Heiva festival happening in town. He not only showed us around the area and pointed out great places to eat, but also helped with restaurant reservations, which we really appreciated since we don’t speak French. He even came to the festival with us and sat with us for the show, explaining what was happening - it made the whole evening extra special. He also helped arrange a rental car for us and had it delivered directly to the accommodation, which made everything seamless. This was such a lovely place to stay - comfortable, well located and run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests. We'd absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming base in bora bora!

We stayed a week at Mareta Lodge. The unit is new and modern inside (much more to our liking than the more traditional wooden decor in many of the expensive resorts). The bed and AC make the stay very comfortable. There is heaps of storage to the point where my wife could fully unpack! There is free wifi, flexible check in/out and all doors are well sealed to keep insects/heat out. The kitchen is has an induction cooktop, microwave/convection oven, a rice cooker and kettle. There is a lovely Al fresco undercover area with outdoor table and chairs overlooking a tropical garden. The location is superb, next to a local convenience store and 10mins walking distance to Matira beach, the best public beach on the island, along with many restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here
