Our accommodation was spotless, very modern and in a quiet location outside of the city. Train and bus station was a 20 minute walk away and a 29 minute ride into Wellington. Our host was very friendly and welcoming.

There was a lot to love about the Apollo Lodge. Very affordable. The location was great, so close to every choice of food and entertainment. And the parking was free! The room was warm, clean and spacious, the bathroom looked recently renovated. The beds were so comfortable, the best I've slept in for some time at a motel.

Victoria Court offers rooms with a private balcony, a kitchenette and free parking. The famous Te Papa Museum is only a 10-minute walk away.

Opposite the hospital was great for visiting a patient. Very comfortable bed. Although near a busy road it did feel peaceful when inside with door closed Helicopters landing on the helipad at the hospital were very loud for a short time - and quite fun to watch. The kitchen was very good with a sink, fridge, stove top etc. we provided most of our own meals. Very helpful staff - friendly and willing to help. I liked the stairs for exercise - initially I puffed but it got easier.

Lovely and clean apartment, worked perfectly as a base as we were visiting family nearby but everything we needed there. Fresh towels and cleaning every day was great and the laundry facilities were very handy.

Very easy, quick check in by friendly lady. It was nice to have an enclosed balcony. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Lovely and clean, good parking, good location.
