Clare and Ralph were the nicest people you will find! Whatever we needed, they made sure we got it. They respected our privacy and wouldn't even knock on the door to leave stuff behind when we were in the lodge! An absolutely gorgeous place to stay.It looked as if it had been designed and equipped by a professional interior designer and it had a stunning sea view.It was set in the owner’s private immaculate gardens and we were welcomed to walk around them.We were made to feel very welcome and were given directions and recommendations for dinner.There was a very nice continental breakfast left for us to enjoy at our leisure on the terrace.

An absolute gem of a getaway! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful working farm, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and just a short drive from the Waihi beach. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing their little slice of paradise. We also fell in love with their friendly dog and adorable cats, who added an extra touch of charm to our visit. Waking up to a group of curious cows watching us from a distance was such a unique and delightful experience. The cabin itself was exceptionally comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, and made us feel completely at home and safe throughout our stay. If you're looking for the perfect balance of tranquility and nature, this place is a dream come true. We will definitely come back, if we have a chance!

This property is "off grid" ie no wifi and no mobile reception. We had not registered this, and had to delay our catch up with work. However once we got our heads around it, we loved it. Good for the soul.
