Only thing was kitchen lights didn’t work but by no means a downer for our stay as we cooked whilst there was still natural light (evening).

we stayed in the self-service cottage, it is a very clean, comfortable house with artistic decorations, and high-quality furniture. This is the house with the most tableware I've ever seen. It is beside the Tongariro river trail. just walk to fly fishing. the another highlight is the cedar spa pool.

We really enjoyed the place! The ladies were lovely and very hopeful! Excellent service shuttle organised for the Tongario Alpine crossing.

Wonderful place at Lake Taupo with a great host. Tony was so friendly and helpful. He even cooked me a dinner when I arrived. Tony’s Lodge is very close to the lakefront.

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River.
