The common area was fantastic - lots of seating, board games, arcade machine with hundreds of old games, tv with lots of dvds, etc. Good spread for breakfast, including fresh bread and pastries, eggs, cereal, etc. Lots of fridge and cupboard space for our own food - the only negative was it was a bit manic when everyone was there at the same time in the morning making breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly, including the assistant manager (the cat).

Set in Takaka in the Tasman region, Alpacas Off Grid - Eco Cabin has a patio and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

It is a wonderful place, calm, among the nature… and the alpacas ! The house was absolutely lovely. Nat was very nice and helpful with many recommandations ! :)

Best place I stayed in the South Island. Amazing views, so much space, lots of very thoughtful extras, delightful staff, comfy beds, and much more. Can’t say enough good things to describe this property.

The location is perfect to have easy access to the Abel Tasman Park. We stayed in the big yellow room Kowhai and loved it. If you travel in a large group, the room can also serve as a great meeting points for snacks, breakfast and games!

We fell in love with this place! Great location with a very nice view. It has all the facilities that you need. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. Anna is a great host. She even went through the trouble to send a package our way after we had left something at the retreat.

We had a great stay with outstanding hosts. Luba and Alan are extremly welcoming and know how to create a perfectly comfortable and relaxing space, which was exactly what we were looking for. The food was 5 star!!! On leaving the lodge we felt cared for and revitalised. Highly reccomend to all!
