We love it.. it was an awesome stay.. wowwww great staff at the reception, at the restaurant as well as the gardeners... we felt very at ease..the view is exceptional.. had an awesome cocktail occasionnally for Valentine's day.. it was breathtaking at night for dinner..the set up was just fabulous... there's a lot to say but we need to go and live the moment to really see the beauty and peacefulness of Chalets Chamarel.. will come back again for sure... thanks for everything..keep it up..you guys are doing a great job 💚

Rooftop terrasse with an almost 360degrees view including ocean and mountains. Everything is very clean and you get every answer you need. Even a doctor coming home will be arranged for you if necessary, not to mention all the love to get well again as soon as possible. :) 5min walk to the big supermarket, 5-10min walk to Gris Gris beach. The stay here is an experience, the whole domain is very pretty and the staff is so present and friendly. The little farm with animals, the awesome food and the beautiful nature is the highlight here. Would definitely book again!

WOW. First of all, the owners/managers and staff are so friendly and welcoming. When you drive into the hotel grounds it is like arriving in some kind of garden of Eden. They have beautifully landscaped the grounds so it’s full of a diversity of native plants and birds, even better than the botanic gardens in many ways! If I had been there longer I would have enjoyed using the fantastic gym facilities and free yoga classes. I had one of the Mountain View rooms with a private pool and it was incredible. One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It was large with a spacious terrace. Gorgeous outdoor shower. They left body oil and scrub which was a really nice touch. There was a really nice shared pool area too which was never busy. I really enjoyed sitting after dinner next to the fire pit and reading my book. The sky was clear with a great view of the stars and at dusk you could see all the fruit bats flying over. The view bar was really good, great cocktails and lots of free snacks brought round! And of course a great view. I drove down to Le Morne beach which was gorgeous and had some good snorkeling right off it. Much quieter than other beaches I visited further up the coast. I went to the geo park and waterfall which were lovely. With more time and some cooler temperatures I would have liked to have explored some of the hiking around. Amazing place I will recommend to friends and family, I hope to get the chance to go back.

Huge recommendation! You are in super near to many tourist sites and some great stretches of beach. But you are also in a wonderful lodge, with a view into a tropic valleyscape. Top tips: walk the petit piton and go for a sundowner at Lakaz.
