Cabins in Ouirgane

Just 1.5 hour from Marrakesh, this was a sanctuary of calm and comfort. The staff are friendly and attentive and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner (the food is exceptional) in a cosy room with a fireplace and panoramic views of the the Atlas mountains. There is a lovely garden (incl a goat, duck and a chicken) with a swimming pool and even a private hammam. The Manager Mohammed took care of all our requests (even lending me a rain coat) and organized an amazing hiking tour with a brilliant guide, Hassan.

We are 2 days into our 3 day stay. What an amazing place it is. Immaculately clean and wonderful, friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The food is out of this world and the property itself is huge and beautifully kept. We hope to be back sooner rather than later. Atlas Smile mountain retreat would surely be one of the greatest artists of all time.Do try the cookery classes with a tour of the vegetable and herb garden. A special place.peaceful gardens, luxurious accommodations and attentive service. This is a place to relax but also to get to know the Berber culture.

Unique place to stay, amidst ruins of old Kasbahs. Bit of a weard walk towards the place itselve, but onve you’re welcomed by the host you’ll appreciate in what type of unique place you’re staying! Unbelievable view Very good breakfast. Pancakes, bread, all types of jam and cheese

It was family more than lodgers. That was our best holiday by far, Houcein, Mustapha and all the family will make you feel so in home. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.

Beautiful place in a lovely location! The view was incredible, the owner and staff were so kind and welcoming, a perfect place to go and relax. Breakfast and dinner was also delicious. Thankyou :)

The breakfast was phenomenal, excellent service as well. We were made feel very welcome, it was especially impressive to see that despite the festivities they were able to accommodate us. We really appreciated that!

Honestly, a wonderful riad, and perfect in every way for our stay! Being across the valley from Imlil, this riad gets the sun on its roof terrace later into the afternoon, making it a lovely spot to sit and drink tea or read a book. The sunset lighting behind the mosque made for gorgeous photos from the roof terrace also. The people running the riad - Marika and Abdilatif - could not have been nicer, and we felt genuinely sad to say goodbye to them at the end of our stay. We had some of the best dinners of our whole trip in Morocco at this riad, and loved the cosy lounge/ dining rooms where food is served. While not lit during out stay (it was still warm), fireplaces in the lounge/ dining rooms and our bedroom suggested toasty evenings are on offer in the winter months. During the colder nights, we really didn't need the fire to be lit in our room as the multiple blankets on our bed were great at keeping us warm. Along with our Marrakech riad, this riad offered the most comfortable bed of our time in Morocco (4 different riads in total) and we could have happily spent many more nights there. The riad is also well-located for walking up to the top of Tizi n'Tamatert (all on a very quiet road, so easy underfoot and with amazing views) and, while possibly slightly further away from the start of the Toubkal climb than Imlil, it would be my preferred location for that hike too as it is practically all downhill so a nice, easy start before all the uphill to come (whereas from Imlil it's an uphill start). We truly can't speak highly enough of this riad, my husband and I definitely hope to be back!!

Comfortable, clean and well located. Amazing service, the family that runs it is super friendly and helpful, always putting our needs first and ensuring we had a good time. We liked our room, it had a cosy balcony with a view of the mountains. And the breakfast was huge! They helped us with getting a guide for a short walk, and the guide Mohamad was lovely too. The residents of Imlil were super hospitable and the environment awe-inspiring. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return.

I had such a great stay at this ecolodge! The place is super cozy and beautifully designed with nature in mind. It felt like the perfect escape! Tougya was so kind and helpful, always making sure everything was just right. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating a space that's both comfortable and sustainable. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and eco-friendly getaway. Hope to come back soon!
