Cabins in Tangalle

Most loved place during our trip. We felt treated like family. All food was cooked by Jammy and was extraodinary delicious. Allways fresh fruits, superb seafood. Free trinking water from big multiuse bottles. We enjoyed this environmental offer. Large clean room. Nice large balcony with view to a beautiful garden.

Quiet, in the middle of nature. You only hear birds and the see, it’s amazing. Really clean. Hosts are very friendly. He took me with his car to the bus station when I left because no tuc tuc could pick me. 😊

The chalets are situated directly on the most idyllic stretch of beach. Each morning you are just a few footsteps away from paradise. Watching the waves crashing onto the beach whilst eating a beautifully prepared breakfast is simply bliss. We wanted to stay longer than the 2 nights we had booked but sadly couldn’t. We will always remember the 2 days we spend at the mangrove chalets with a smile on our face.

I spent one night at this fantastic place. It is a tranquil place within the nature and beach and full of the friendly owners passion and joy for creating an individual spot. The breakfast was extraordinary and plenty. The beach is 50m to go, during my time the see was a bit rough and difficult for swimming, but I had great joy with the waves at the shore. I can definitely recommend the place.

We are a young couple from Austria and found the villas through coincidence. We recently spent a few nights at the Tomorrowland Hostel in Ella. (where the hospitality far exceeded typical hostel standards.) When we mentioned our plans to travel to the South Coast, Tomorrowland’s Guest Relations Officer, Pooja, introduced us to their brand-new upscale boutique property—Tomorrowland Beach Villas in Rekawa, Tangalle—promising a luxurious all-inclusive experience. We decided to give it a try From the moment we arrived at the property, it felt like a slice of paradise. We were warmly welcomed by two wonderful hosts who greeted us with cool, refreshing towels and freshly squeezed fruit juices—an incredibly thoughtful touch after our journey. Hungry from the trip, we were soon treated to the best hash browns we’ve ever had—crispy, golden, and delightfully thick, almost the size of a deep-dish, medium pizza! Accompanied by perfectly boiled eggs, a plate of fresh tropical fruits, and organic tea from Sri Lanka’s highlands, the breakfast set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The all-inclusive package included a magical canoeing trip on the serene Rekawa Lagoon and a spectacular beachside dinner. We've never come across an all-inclusive experience of this caliber in Sri Lanka. From the romantic cabins with extra-long beds to the wide, luxurious sunbeds on the private beach, every detail of our stay was designed for comfort and indulgence. The warm hospitality, exquisite food, unlimited drinks, and impeccable service made our experience truly exceptional. It's a real insider tip, still spared from the crowds of tourists ;) We cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a five-star, all-inclusive getaway where you’ll be pampered from start to finish, Tomorrowland Beach Villas is the place to go! Thank you Pooja! We will come back :)

Unique experience that I would recommend highly to anyone visiting Tangalle. Immaculate.

Close to small food stall. Close to beautiful beaches

A beautiful cabin 3 minute walk from the beach where turtles come an lay their eggs every night. It’s forbidden to go alone one the beach after 7 at night since then the turtles will arrive. There is a Turtle watch center just by the beach where 25 volunteers work to support the turtles and all tourist can join the watch from 7:30 when it’s getting dark. It cost 2000 rupees if they find a turtle and free if not (which is extremely unlikely). The beach was private with few tourists

A great spot for our family of 4. Walking distance to two beautiful but different beaches. Silent beach was our favourite in all is Sri Lanka. The property was set back in nature and we loved the mornings listening to the sounds and seeing the different animals. Also, a short tuk tuk ride to the surf beach in Hiri. The host was super helpful easy to communicate with. He also gave us a lot of space (which isn’t always the case in Sri Lanka). If we ever visit Sri Lanka again we will be back!
