Beautiful accommodation in the hills surrounding Kandy. Actually some of my Kandy highlights were the lazy mornings and afternoons spent here. Punya is very responsive including when our train arrived later than expected, past 10pm, and also helped us arrange onward travel. Ravi is great, and made us feel very at home. He is also an excellent chef! The breakfasts are delicious, and we had something a little different each day. Thank you!

What an incredible stay! One of our favourites in a 6 month trip and incredible value for money. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming and the home cooked meals by a lady from the village were delicious. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with an incredible view. The location is outside Kandy but we found the city to be hectic so it was nice to be a bit removed and nearer to nature, and was cheap & easy by bus or tuk tuk into town. As a cherry on top they have the sweetest friendly dog. Can't recommend enough!

Fabulous location in the hills with views overlooking Kandy and infinity pool. Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful decor throughout the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

This was truly a hidden gem, we loved everything about our stay at Kandy River Lodge. The apartment was spotless with essentials for cooking if required. The view of the river from the balcony was beautiful. The host had water bottles tea and coffee available to us and offered us a complimentary transport from the train station. The host was available to help with any requests and very responsive. If you are staying in Kandy I would definitely recommend staying at Kandy River Lodge. If we get the opportunity to come back to Kandy we would definitely book again
