An ideal place for those who love nature, peace and quiet. Nearby is a lake where you can see buffalo and all kinds of birds. Very nice place. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Unforgettable safari. I highly recommend.

Very kind and welcoming hosts, lovely room with ample space for two couples. Spacious and clean bathroom with great shower. The staff was fantastic. Always around for any small need. The location, admittedly far from the city, while the food is provided by the hotel, also prepares breakfast to take away when you go on safari. Dinners were really delicious. The pumpkin soup was a pleasant surprise for me. Insanely delicious. The pool provided solace after a day's safari. The water clean and warm. Plus, close to the gate to the national park, which is not the main entrance, ensuring no unnecessary traffic and queues to enter. Absolutely recommend!

Staying here felt like luxury for us, everything seems to be brand new and with a clean and modern furniture. Room was huge, and we didn't expect to have a bath with nice hot water. The place is very peaceful surrounded by the forest, and just 15 minutes from kataragama temple complex, which is a must see during sunset time.. I really would have spent a week just here!

Ranakeliya Lodge Yala was simply the perfect choice! The lodge is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting, close to Yala National Park, making it a fantastic starting point for a safari. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a really cozy atmosphere. We spent one night here. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was also fantastic and plentiful. I can only recommend this place!

The room was very clean and big, with AC. Near to Yala national park. Very quiet at night, with a nice atmosphere and good options to have dinner by walk. The host, Malinga, was very kind: ready to counsel us and take us to great places. He offers a taxi service, so is a good option to go there from your previous location or go with him to your next destination in your trip.

Amazing spot in Yala, close to the entrance of the parc and very friendly staff! We loved swimming in the pool and walking around the lake.
