We had a great stay. The stuff and the owner were super helpful, talkative and we have learned quite a lot. We also had a private tour and trying spices from the garden. Breakfast was incredible and super healthy. The bed was very comfortable and the room/house was super pretty. Everything was perfect and beyond, thank you so much! 🙏🏻

I stayed for 02 nights there. The chalet was amazing. Highlight of the place was the private pool, absolutely loved it!! The room and the bathroom was very spacious & clean. Room offers all the facilities (living area, satellite tv, wardrobe, tea/coffee maker, etc...) you need for a perfect getaway. Breakfast was very good with few options to choose from. They had an À la carte menu for lunch and dinner, which was also very good. The property was also kept very clean and neat. Wish the owner and the team the very best for future! Would definitely visit again!!

L&D Lodge is located just 100 metres from the Hikkaduwa Beach. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of the property. It provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests.

This was my 3rd stay at this place. The staff is just incredible. They provide amazing service. They do have as well 2 more properties if you wish to try different things they have the L&D accomodation and L&D Stay Inn. This guys will provide you whatever you need with affordable prices.

Fantastic stay at the Eco Lodge. Wonderfully built, very spacious and comfortable in a quiet location, but close enough to restaurants, shops and the beach. Surrounded by lush vegetation and fruit trees with a feeling of very much being in nature. Chandi and her family are so friendly and kind and we loved our time at the lodge, it has everything you need. Highly recommended if coming to the Hikkaduwa area!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place itself is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxation and enjoying the authentic atmosphere of the area. The owners were incredibly kind, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything, which made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious, full of fresh and local flavors. Everything exceeded our expectations, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

This is an eco-hotel, beautiful, decorated with antique pieces and traditional furniture from srilanka. The hotel is surrounded by forest and we found many monkeys and exotic birds in the gardens. The room was huge and beautiful. Indika and his wife are exemplary hosts, very cordial and always willing to provide us the best stay. The hotel sells handicrafts from Sri Lanka and it was there that I bought my Christmas presents to bring to my country. Indika even took us to a local wood carver where we bought a wonderful wooden elephant, which reminds us at home of our fantastic journey through Sri Lanka . Indika has a tuk-tuk and took us to some beaches on the coast of Galle and to a fabulous Buddhist temple. Many thanks Mr Indika for your hospitality and concern to make our stay memorable.

We stayed here for three days and felt very comfortable. The cottage built in the garden of the family is very stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Great interior design. It even has a very large refrigerator, dishes, and a sink. Malik and his family take really good care of their guests. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful (so much so that we made ourselves packed lunches). And Malik's brother once brought us some delicious homemade cookies, just because I had told him that I like sweets. You can borrow two bicycles for free, which we did once to explore the surrounding area and ride through the rice fields. Malik is a very good contact when it comes to organizing excursions. He gave us great tips and organized a good driver for a day trip to the rainforest. He also speaks excellent English (which is unfortunately not often the case in Sri Lanka), so it's easy to have a conversation with him. He is an awesome guide himself and spent a morning showing us around the old town and fort of Galle, and we learned lots of new and interesting things. Highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him, if he is around. If we come back to Galle, we will definitely stay here again!
