We absolutely fell in love with Bissa Villa! The gardens, the pool, the bungalows, the scent of flowers, the sounds of birds and other wildlife.. it was truly paradise! ;-) The welcome from the two hosts, a wonderful couple, was very warm. They showed us around the property and offered that we could still have dinner at their restaurant The Train Hut (even though we arrived late). We ended up eating there every single night during our stay! They offer a fantastic combination of Sri Lankan - backpacker - Western style food, which is a hit for every tourist, of course. The pool was very relaxing after a day out in the "Golden Triangle", and the breakfast pancakes (Sri Lankan style, sweet pancakes, rolls with honey and cardamon and coconut) were favorite for our kids. And they had proper coffee! You could tell the hosts have been to Europe, as they spoke very good English and knew what their customers want. A touch of home combined with the adventures of Sri Lanka! Our hosts had some very entertaining stories about how they chase away monkeys off the property, as well as elephants that visit in the night (not during our stay).

We absolutely loved staying at Sigiri Jungle Villa. Its location is fantastic - few minutes walking to Sigiria, local bus stand and the town centre as well. The cleanliness of the apartment was just outstanding, very very clean and nicely equipped. We got everything we needed. It is clear that the owner is taking great care of the area - even the walls were newly painted for the season. We also loved the jungle in front of the apartment! Absolutely stunning mornings and evenings we could spend on the terrace surrounded by nature. (Also there were no mosquitos). Rich breakfasts were the best we got so far in Sri Lanka. We could also order homemade dinners made by the owner and his family - excellent food with tea and fruits for a great price, not to mention that the owner also arranged convenient elephant Safari trip for us. I could go on and on with the positive comments. Thank you very much for everything and we hope to see you again!

It was really clean,the bed was comfortable.just a realy good host! Felt like having a second mom. She was waiting till late evening,knowing i come back. Even in the early morning (sun shine) she woke up with me and waited till i got picked up 🙂 I got a breakfast to go in the morning l left just.they entertained us at the nearby hut.it was our best stay in srilanka 🙏 thank you

We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiri art home. It is a lovely place hidden in the jungle. From the comfortable furniture at the patio, you can enjoy the sights of the beautiful garden. When we arrived we were welcomed very kindly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC functioned perfectly. In the morning we got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host and his wife are kindhearted and want to make sure your stay is up to your wishes. When we ran out of gas with our rented tuk tuk, the host even brought us to a gas station to get a bottle of fuel. He was truly a lifesaver.

We spent three nights in Nimali and Gayan’s home and it was the best way to start our trip around Sri Lanka. Nimali, Gayan and their two sons are truly amazing hosts, generous, friendly and warm. A Wonderful Stay at Jungle Edge Home Sigiriya Located just outside of Sigiriya, Jungle Edge Home offers stunning views of Pidurangala and Lion Rock. The views from the balcony, overlooking the surrounding area, were truly breathtaking and made for a peaceful spot to relax. The resort provided a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry, and it was very delicious, adding a special local touch to our experience. There were also small discussions about Sri Lankan culture, which enriched our stay and provided a deeper understanding of the region's traditions. The environment outside the resort building was peaceful and serene, offering a perfect backdrop to unwind. The resort also facilitated a friendly safari to visit Minneriya National Park. We were able to see a number of elephants, and the experience was absolutely beautiful. The park's natural beauty and wildlife made for an unforgettable adventure. All in all, the resort’s staff were incredibly helpful, and no request was too much trouble. A truly lovely place to stay!

Excellent location. The breakfast spread was enormous and delicious. The room were cozy and very much clean . Very peaceful & quite place . Rajitha help us to make transport service & safari (reasonable price ) . Highly recommended
