We booked very late notice due to flight delay and getting into Colombo late. He cooked us traditional Sri Lankan food and it was absolutely superb! He was kind and very accommodating. A very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend. He also organised a well priced taxi to Sigiriya in the morning

We were so lucky to find Tekkawatta for the last four nights of our hectic three week trip to Sri Lanka. The two bed villa is spacious and clean, very good a/c and the meals prepared for us were excellent. The staff are polite, discreet, professional and friendly and the owners are charming. We highly recommend this jungle oasis on the edge of Colombo. It’s a bird watcher’s paradise and a heavenly end to a fabulous holiday.

The house is beautiful, rooms are very clean, rooms and toilets are very very beautiful, and the owner is Very friendly and very helpful. Everything was superb! The rooms are very spacious, beds super comfy, Lift, and the super clean pool hedged by the foliage. The staff, Kalyani was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. And she deserves a mega tip! The living area was vast, comfy and gives super vibes. We had to cancel our booking due to poor tummy health of our team , then we booked only for 4 ppl the next day. The host understood our situation and kindly accepted for me to entertain some of our relatives for a few hours in the premises. Loved the cat !!!!

The hotel was one of my favorites in Sri Lanka after 1 month of traveling. The rooms are very nice and the price for that is unbelievable. Monkeys are playing in front of the balcony in the morning in the trees. The owner is very nice . I loved to stay there . Very nice vibe !
