The quiet and cosy cabin, sitting in the warm cabin in the serene forests was just magical. As it was snowing heavily at Akureyri in the middle of March, we decided to spend most of our day here. Enjoyed the hot tub in the forest.

Perfect location 5 minutes out of town with amazing views of the town. Cabin is beautiful and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Kitchen facilities were excellent and it even had a washing machine. Host Arni was super friendly, a really nice guy. Absolutely loved our stay there and the location was great for exploring the area north

Ours was a self catering studio with private bathroom and shared kitchen and lounge area. The set up is great and a really good idea. It was nice to speak with other people staying there whilst we were preparing food & drinks etc and also to have our own private area. Beds were very comfy. Bathroom was luxurious with a great shower. Good location with lovely views of the sea and a nice terrace to sit out on.

A beautiful cabin up a hill with a lovely view of Akureyre. The place is peaceful and “zen”. One can hear the birds singing and enjoy the reflections of the midnight Sun from above. The cabin is just as in the photos. A wooden cabin with a beautiful large terrace, a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms downstairs and one big one in the attic above (up a ladder). It is very well equipped and has everything you would ever need - from a barbecue to wine glasses! Our only problem was that we loved the place so much that we had trouble leaving to go sightseeing! We wished we had more days there to just relax and “chill out”.

Whole cabin with loft & balcony - centrally located for all our activities planned near Akureyri. Owner upgraded us to larger cabin. We stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of our Ring Road adventure in Iceland. We had 2 friends and a married couple on this trip - had plenty of space. Enjoyed the coffee, deck & sauna, bbq, and tremendous views!
