The family who run Munduk Nature Lodge are so helpful and lovely. Nothing was any trouble. They gave us great information for our stay. We ate in most nights and enjoyed the food and the company. We enjoyed the jungle views, waterfalls and walks to the rice paddies and local farms.

Host team is always available and able to provide advise and excursions. They also help you in case of any need. They rent scooter which is a big plus due to the location. The location is outside of the village which is better from my point of view as you feel really in the rainforest. Also, the host provides complementary car transfer to restaurants and Munduk in case it’s needed.

Amazing place to start your adventure in Munduk. The host is really friendly and helpful. He organised us a Scooter so the trip could get started. The camp itself is situated within some beautiful rice fields with a nice restaurant next to it. Adorable family with an adorable puppy aswell!

The property was unexpected cool, better than in photos. We were sceptic because of just 1 review, but we were very happy to stay in this place. They have restaurant with very tasty and low price food, coffee and tea were complimentary, so as water. The stuff is really nice and helpful if you need extra blanket, towel, etc. The atmosphere absolutely suiting to this mountain location. Loved it!

Place is wonderful and serene! The Staff is really supporting to get around (meals, scooter, guide, car drive). This accomodation helped me connect with balinese culture as they offer activities that help you understand the country. I felt very kindly cared for and would recommend the place. This is a beautiful, tranquil, and unique lodge in the Balinese mountains. I chose it as I wanted a break from the unrelenting heat of coastal North Bali. Oemah Tepi Sawah is up in a stunning mountain plateau with warm days and delightfully cool evenings. I had a spacious villa, which was charming and serene. Check out the different rooms as they have varying combinations of spaces and bathroom arrangements, but they are all idyllic. The hospitality was amazing. Dewi is a wonderful host and very well organised. The food was healthy, delicious, and unique. The superb cook, Anggi, made amazing dinners, especially the soups. I also had two massages from Iluh. The first one hour massage was so relaxing that I booked a second for one and a half hours. The jungle and mountain trekking made for an excellent day. Putu Nova, Kadek Komar, and Komang Deduk are engaging, knowledgeable, and helpful guides. I went trekking with other guests and we all enjoyed their company. Kadek Komar is also a driver and drove me from Lovina to Oemah Tepi Sawah and then to Sanur. I well recommend Kadek Komar as a driver. This is a beautiful place, and I plan on returning every other year. It is the perfect place to stop for a while as you drive between North and South Bali. I plan on stopping here for a few nights in both directions for my future trips to Bali from now on.

Staying at D'Jungle was the absolute highlight of my trip to Bali. Putu and his family have built an extraordinary oasis in the mountains, with lush greenery, gorgeous terrace views, and exceptional home cooking. The location is perfect as a home base for adventures and attracts kind-hearted and interesting travellers to befriend around the kitchen table. I was sad to leave and will definitely be returning. 10/10
