Amazing facilities, the tent was comfortable, in a calm atmosphere, ideal for a weekend escape in the nature. There are also a lot of activities to do around and some beautiful waterfalls. We had a great time.

The place is very peaceful and qualitative. Lovely house, with many flowers and plants : make you feel in the nature and very relaxed. Charming and pleasant atmosphere. Great advise to visit the park. Entrance 3 is privileged access because not many people enter via P3. This is a original and genuine experience ! Can’t miss !

Amazing accomodation to stay when visiting the Lakes. The hosts, Carlos and his wife are hard working, open-minded and friendly people who you can ask for anything. Food: Dinner and breakfast are optional but we highly recommend both!! Dinner served (€25) consists of bread, meats and cheese for starter, choice between meat or fish as main course sided with fresh vegetables and amazing Djuvec, to end with a delicious light dessert. Drinks are also extra cost but the host is very generous with home-made shnapps for free. Breakfast consists of a buffet of meats, cheese, fresh bread, yoghurt and toppings, cakes and fruit. Endless coffee and tea and a choice of eggs. Everything spent is to pay extra in EUR cash when checking out. But it’s an excellent price-quality really. Room: The room is amazing. Great bed, extra pillows, very clean and a nice balcony. The surroundings are absolute silent. They have an open fire that’s lit when it’s cold. They have a dog, not free roaming, but when politely asked, the host will allow you to walk him if you want to. Plitvice Lakes: The host provides you with the best route to visit the lakes. It involves everything the park has to offer (upper & lower lakes, train and boat) and takes about 6 hours. Entrance 3 is just a 5min walk away. Since this is not an official entrance you have the chance to avoid crowds. (Visited 2nd week of October). Highly recommend this route!!

The place is beautiful. It is located in a nice nature but still 8 minutes to shop by a car. We spent here a great 2 nights in piece and sounds of nature. You can sit on both sides of the cotage. The cotage is made by very solid wood (It’s more likely a log cabin) Really amazing. Enough room in kitchen that’s what we love. I could immagine to spent more time here. There is platný of stuff to see around this area. We have visited Plitvice national park just around 25 minutes by car. This accomodation worth it for sure. The owners were also so kind. I wish we had more time to spend here. Thank you very much (also to Barbara for a good translation 😉) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property owners were of great care and welcomed us with a lot of food delicacies of their own. We have really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and with all essentials.

This little house was like a cute little doll's house! So traditional and in a lovely secluded location 10-15 mins walk from Rastoke. There was everything we needed at the property and we felt very at home. The host was super friendly and helpful.

Chalet Markoci is an excellent place for 4-6 people. It is easy to find, very close to Slunj, the Barac cave and the Plitvice Lakes, thus it is remote, very quiet, with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house is very well equipped, the hot tub is great fun. The host was very nice, waiting for us when we arrived.

The location is great. It's remote enough to give you the peace and quiet you want from a vacation, yet still accessible enough to go on day trips. The cabin is very well built and tastefully decorated. The bed upstairs is super comfortable. The outdoor space is huge, and nicely organized. We especially enjoyed the swings. There is an air conditioning unit upstairs which easily cools the entire cabin when used smartly. We had almost everything we needed and the host brought what was missing in the first 2 days. For a couple of nights or a long weekend, it's a great choice.
