Everything was perfect. First of all, we appreciate we were allowed to checked in at 11am, as we arrived earlier to visit the Plitvice Lakes. The location is ideal, just up to 10 mins walk to the entrance #3 where there are no queues (but purchase the tickets online before your visit). The room was perfectly neat, had a mini-fridge, shampoo, soap and gel shower, a lovely balcony. And what we liked the best - is the owners' hospitality. We were treated with schnapps a couple of times )) We took a dinner and were offered a tasty one with a meze, a main course + a dessert. We also took a breakfast which fulfilled us for a long road. We absolutely recommend this place to stay, even for a 1 night stay!

Great location, easy to find and less than 30 mins drive to Plitvice. Very kind and helpful owners. The heated pool was superb. House was cosy and comfortable.

Really everything was amazing in this accommodation! It’s a beautiful cottage, the beds were comfortable, the porch was beautiful and kids could play in the garden. Everything you could possibly need is available (laundry detergent, shower gel, oil and spices, but also cereals, candy and chocolate bars). We were also gifted some appetizers, bread and wine. The owner lives right next door and is incredibly friendly with a lot of information on the area.

Chalet Markoci is an excellent place for 4-6 people. It is easy to find, very close to Slunj, the Barac cave and the Plitvice Lakes, thus it is remote, very quiet, with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house is very well equipped, the hot tub is great fun. The host was very nice, waiting for us when we arrived.
