Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

It a self catering cabin, so I cannot rate the breakfast but as I cooked my own breakfast it was excellent 😂😂

The cabin is beautiful and has everything you would expect from a proper Hotel but even better.

Absolutely loved everything, from the location to the chalet itself and the incredibly friendly host. I can’t fault the place at all - and it is insanely good value for money. The same sort of atmosphere and beauty somewhere closer to London would be 3 or 4 times the price. You will not regret visiting this beautiful escape.

Lovely gardens. Tow bath on the canal is quickly accessed and you can walk to the nearest pub with 15 minutes or further to the Rowbarge in about an hour all along the canal. Chalet is more spacious than it appeared on the pictures and was enough room for a short stay. Showers are new and work very well. Thank you for having us

The Chalet is in a super location - adjacent to but not in sight of the canal - with a tea room, station and good pub (the Butt Inn) within walking distance. You have access to a large garden and we were very lucky with wildlife sightings - a muntjac deer, a heron and a red kite while we were in the garden and kingfishers, quail, marsh harriers and (possibly) an otter while walking nearby. We were very grateful for the fans provided as we stayed during a heatwave. The hosts were very accomodating and friendly.
