Valley Lodge – A Slice of Heaven by the River Exe Nestled near the charming town of Dulverton on the banks of the serene River Exe, Valley Lodge is a true hidden gem that surpassed all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the idyllic setting—a perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquillity, natural beauty, and a touch of luxury. The views are simply breathtaking. Each morning, I awoke to the gentle murmur of the river burbling past, complemented by the lush greenery and the soft play of sunlight on the water. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to savour every moment. The lodge itself is wonderfully comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably maintained. Every detail, from the cosy furnishings to the spotless amenities, speaks of care and quality. The living spaces felt welcoming and warm, ideal for curling up with a book or enjoying a quiet evening with loved ones. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee on the balcony, exploring the beautiful surroundings, or simply soaking in the peaceful ambiance, Valley Lodge offers a rejuvenating experience that’s hard to match. For anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in nature's embrace, I cannot recommend Valley Lodge highly enough. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to make cherished memories. I will undoubtedly be returning to this little slice of paradise!

Location: Great location, few minutes drive from Minehead town (easily walking distance), and beautiful scenery around the hut. Hosts: Very friendly and catering to needs. Amenities: Hottub, bbq, outside chimney, log burner. Comfy bed and proper nice vibes.

The cabin is at a perfect location, on the hill, in the woods, by the sea, overlooking the beach. Secluded but close to all amenities. It's right on the coastal path (a few steps down the hill) and the hike we took westward was easy and pleasant. The cabin itself is clean, homey and filled with sunshine in the morning and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Friendly, clean, and very good communication. They gave us some milk for tea. Child friendly and even left us washing up liquid

Everything! It was super clean, cosy and tranquil, it really felt like a reset and will 100% be back! Great value for money and absolutely lovely people, I honestly could not recommend a more perfect place to stay!

A superb find in Exmoor. Location is scenic. . Barn conversion is 5 star. Huge skies from front garden, with natural valley.

We had a great stay at Knapp House Lodges. We stayed in Woodpecker Lodge, the smallest of three lodges available to guests. The property, gardens, and surrounding area is incredibly quiet and peaceful. We heard Tawny owls close by at night which was a treat. The apartment itself is lovely - private, comfortable, and well equipped. We spent a lot of time in the apartment owing to the weather and a fair bit of jet lag. It was an easy and comfortable space to be in. The perfect size for a couple. It was also spotlessly clean. There is a farm just down the road from Knapp House (within easy walking distance) where you can buy fresh, beautiful, and gigantic chicken eggs. Be sure to get some when you stay! A lovely stay and highly recommend.
