The cabin was in a perfect location for accessing the lake district and the local area is also well worth a visit (Grange over Sands and Cartmel). The addition of the barbeque and jacuzzi added to a greater enjoyment of the lodge when not sightseeing.

First time visiting Chequers. It was absolutely excellent. Stylish, spotless, tastefully done & i would highly recommend srating there. The room, facilities, bedding alm lovely. We will definitely go back. Everything was so easy, self check in. Private and peaceful. The peace and quiet , the privacy . The pod had everything we needed and was comfortableand clean. The farm, the pod was situated on was lovely . Waking up to sheep , horse and dogs was lovely . We would definitely recommend and go again.

Beautiful, modern interior. Lovely site with Lakes around. Comfy bed and very clean all round. Weather was lovely when we stayed so made use of the outdoor space. Plenty of room for 4 to stay. Kitchen was kitted out perfectly with a full size fridge/freezer. Would have been more than happy to stay for a week and will definitely be back. Heating system was fab and warmed up nicely in the evening. Plenty wardrobe space, even a hairdryer, iron & board, floor steamer and hoover on hand. Cleaning supplies and basic supplies if you were to take a dog readily available. Spacious lodge with lots of windows to take advantage of natural light. Area was quiet when we stayed, during both day and night.
