Cabins in Jan Thiel

The place to be not only for divers. Very charming boutique hotel with a soul and lovely staff.

We spent a wonderful three weeks at Green Turtle Eco Lodge. The lodge is several self-catering apartments with a shared pool and laundry facilities. Davide and Marta are very attentive hosts, generally present at the building at least once every day or available whenever you need them via WhatsApp. Davide was very helpful to us when we ran into a problem with our rental car. Marta is a yoga instructor and is even available to be hired for private sessions by the pool! The pool area is very quiet because it is only for use by guests of the lodge. Several days we had it all to ourselves! It’s a great place to relax on a “down day” or to cool off after a long day of sightseeing. Parking is a small gravel lot just off the road with spaces for 6 cars. The Lodge is located off of the main road that runs between Willemstad and Jan Thiel beach area. A rental car is advised and Davide can help to arrange one for you. Being away from the main road and the beach club areas means the Lodge is very peaceful. The lodge is a perfect base for a long stay (we stayed for 3 weeks) and the wifi was excellent, I was able to work remotely. Davide is able to arrange to “meet and greet” you at the airport and/or bring you to the airport for departure, all for a reasonable fee to cover his time and gas. Kitchen appliances were provided like a toaster/toaster oven, coffeemaker and the kitchen dishes were enough for 2-4 persons.

We had a amazing stay at Mondi lodge - our tree house was awesome and comfy, everything needed had been thought of for us, the whole team are lovely and breakfast was amazing everyday! I highly recommend looking at the activities and suggestions provided - we did some great tours and activities that we wouldn’t have known about other than by suggestion

Extremely nice resort to stay. Also very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend this.
