Everything was perfect. The place, the people, the food, the location, the animals. Best sleep we had with my partner in Costa Rica. The most outstanding location. The cabinas are beautifully situated. The host is so accommodating and helpful. Somewhere not to be missed. It is well off the beaten track but a total oasis! Great breakfasts!

Pacuare River Lodge is a beautiful place. Very special to raft to the lodge. Great place to relax, sit, watch, read and take pictures. Take an extra day there, it is worth it. Johanna and Kirk do a really good job. They helped me as well with my bike. Thanks also to the stuff at the lodge who did a really good job. Muchas gracias! And, DON'T try to drive there, the road is REALLY bad!!

Stunning location with unbelievable view, very tranquil and peaceful, very friendly owners, great breakfast! Need at least an SUV to get to it as around 3km up an unmade rocky road, but well worth the slow drive, as the views are amazing! Quite good wifi as well! Would happily stay there again!

Such a lovely and quiet place! The room is located on the floor below the floor of the owner. The room is very spacious, clean and the bed is comfy. The patio just in front of the room has a very nice view. You can use the kitchen of the owner if you want, they are very comfortable with it so it doesn't feel like you are disturbing them. The owner and his wife are very friendly people and they absolutely make you feel at home. The place is absolutely worth the little bit steep route to get there!
