Cabins in Drake

Some friends recommended the place to us, without a doubt one of our best lodging choices. Carlos and Laura always attentive to what we needed, with additional attention to the cozy accommodation, makes you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with beautiful views of nature and we also try the cocktails before taking a swim, definitely recommend to do that! They also have a tour company and they help us book a tour to visit Corcovado. It was beautiful! Really great tour! Thank you very much and we hope to come back soon !

Very pretty, comfortable, quiet, perfectly clean and beautifully decorated accommodation. The view of the sea and the birds is pleasant and I slept very well. Shirley, Claudio, Cristopher, Kim and Jefer made me feel very welcome and did their best to please me. Everything was just perfect! Thanks again to the whole team. I hope to see you soon!

Sebastian and Maria were the most amazing hosts. We had to change plans at the last minute due to road closures and cancelled accommodation. After confirming last minute availability at Bajo Bosque, I had a WhatsApp message 5 minutes later from Sebastian re-assuring us he'd be waiting on the beach to transfer us to Bajo Bosque after our boat transfer from Sierpe (we highly recommend this route in to Drake Bay). On the first morning, Sebastian took us into town and pointed out the best shops to buy fruit, veg and store-cupboard supplies. Later in the week when we experienced a power outage, Sebastian was down in a heartbeat with a gas burner so we could make our morning coffee and breakfast. We saw so much wildlife from the balcony of Bajo Bosque, with messages from Sebastian each time he spotted a Sloth in the trees. The Macaws were also a common sight in the trees road-side. We enjoyed the easy 20 minute walk down to the start of the Drake Bay hiking trail (spotted a Tapir on the road at night!). We were travelling with kids, and there was never a complaint about the walking because we always saw so many exciting things long the way. Sebastian also offers transfers at a reasonable cost which are well worth it to explore more of the Drake Bay Hiking trail. Our change in plans meant that we stayed 3 nights longer than originally planned, spending 7 nights in total. This was in hind-sight such a great alteration to our itinerary because our stay at Bajo Bosque was hands-down the best part of our 3 week holiday in Costa Rica. We'd also highly recommend a creek tour with José whose knowledge of frogs is incredible!

Great location, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, super friendly hostess, Jeannette and family. They are very friendly and provided a collection&drop off service from the boat. You can also book guided tours with them.

Whaou, what to say... It was an amazing stay, the view was truly a dream and the private pool on the terrasse such a luxury!! The breakfast was nice (and included in the price) and le staff helpfull to book the boats tickets for example. It was the best place we stayed in during our stay, don't hesistate and treat yourself to it, the sunsets are the best Thank you!!

Everything was perfect! I will book again Nothing was more relaxing than the sea view and the sound of the waves from the bungalow during my 3 weeks in CR. The jungle and all the animals. It felt unbelievable The sunset from the beach. MA-GI-CAL The river and the waterfall. The best surprise I am so grateful. The kindness of the staff who spent time to show me around.

Our stay in the Corcovado Green Cabin was a highlight and the perfect end of our Costa Rica trip! Raquel was so lovely and the cabin was just beautiful, very clean and located in such a peaceful area. We only needed around 10 min by walk to arrive at the beach, where we literally were the only 2 people! Our highlight was the great view which we enjoyed in the morning during breakfast or in the evenings watching the sunset. We totally recommend it and would come back any time! It's a really exceptional experience to stay here. Rebecca is one of the nicest hosts you could imagine. And Alan is a wonderful cook. Highly recommended for those who seek an authentic adventure off the usual tourist tracks.
