It’s like leaving a moment out of this world in a complete paradise ! We had such a great time, location is incredible between the tropical jungle and the ocean, the tents are perfect and have everything we need and the view on the beach. The food was so good, the best we had in Costa Rica, the prices feel justified compared to the rest of the country. The staff is awesome, really nice and helped have the best experience there. The hotel offers night walks where we got to see turtles nesting, hikes in the Corcovado with a great guide who is willing to share his experience of nature and naturals, massages also. I can only recommend !!

Our 2nd visit and we extended it further once we got there. The staff are brilliant (and helped me with improving my Spanish) and the place is unique. We like the Canta Rana bungalow best as it has a lagoon around it, but they are all privately located in the jungle. The dinner deal is great value and good food. There are trails to walk and animals and birds all around. One of our favourite places and we've travelled to over 60 countries. Thanks Merlin and team.

We had a wonderful time at Maze Lodge in the middle of the jungle! Sure the road is a little bumpy but nothing a 4x4 car (we had a Suzuki Jimny) can't handle...a little adventure ride for free :) We want to thank our hosts Frida and Alexander so much for hospitality and their support! It’s got a great driveway, spacious house with two levels, great mosquito netting that goes around the bed, 3 bathrooms, lovely pets including a friendly parrot 🦜 and the outside patio is well kept and the pool stylish (and illuminated in the evenings!). We stayed for 6 nights with Geraldo and his family and they were very welcoming and even gave us fresh bananas and coconut waters daily. His wife did our washing and folded it really neatly. We were never bored as there is so much to do on the Osa Peninsula and we really missed the place and all the people and animals living there when we left. We saw squirrel monkeys from the balcony in the morning and saw macaws fly over the house regularly.

Finca Kobo is beautifully located in the nature. In the morning we walked around the finca and encountered many monkeys. Staff very nice. Would definitely recommend and come back next time.

Amazing 4-night stay at Lapa Rios, definitely one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The beautiful room, the view on the Pacifc ocean, the great food, the kindness and professionnalism of the staff, all the animals you can spot so close to you (monkeys, macau, toucans, frogs, etc.). The park of the hotel is a good before-taste of the almost nearby Corcovado national park not to be missed, with great guides

Cabinas Jimenez offers an outdoor pool and is located right by the beach of the beautiful Gulfo Dulce.

Location - you can step into the water directly from the hotel’s steps. Spacious room with the air con. Lovely pool area and decor all around the place. Free bikes and kayaks to use! Extremely helpful, approachable and accommodating staff and owner (kindly agreed to for us to stay and use facilities, kayaks etc after checking out!)
