Amelia was so welcoming and the property is in a lovely location close to the beach. The best part about our stay was the incredible dishes Amelia prepared - the tastiest and most varied food we’ve had during our time in Colombia. Amelia organised us a couple of tours and gave us the information and contacts we needed.

Amazing stay with Bea and Carlos. What a unexplored paradise! We started our trip of 3,5 weeks in El Vijo and what a way of disconnecting from everything! The kindness of the host and the incredible wildlife make this place so special! Just to get there is an expedition but my it is worth it!

We have just spent 5 unforgettable days in Bahia Terco! Between the jungle and the ocean, we find this haven of peace! Claudia's kindness and Francisco's humor made this trip a wonderful one. Many thanks to Mirka and her fabulous cooking. Every dish from breakfast to dinner was perfect and above all local! Flavors you won't forget. In this place, we find Colombia as we dream of it, silence, nature. Francisco and Claudia helped us organize everything from the arrival from the airport, the activities, until the return. We shared moments together and an outing with them, to discuss everything, life, to learn from their daily lives! What happiness. We saw whales and the first swim of turtles! It is a place that I recommend 100%. If you are looking for a quiet place, with a heavenly beach, you have found the ideal hotel!! A huge crush ! Amis français, fonçez ! We had an absolutely amazing time at Popochos. The location is just 10min outside of Nuquí but it feels like you are in a remote nature paradise. The beach in front of the cabañas is several kilometers long and you barely see any other people there. The cabaña was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable one in our trip through Colombia so far. The food is tasty, the fruits organic from their own garden and we absolutely loved the free coffee and water. The tours we took were amazing and we even went fishing with Hugo and caught so many fish. We can recommend staying at popochos and we will definitely come back. But what really was outstanding was Hugo and Neila and their family. They were so kind and went above and beyond to assure that we would have a good time. They even organized a surf board for us! We honestly didn’t want to leave and felt like we had made new friends.

Madreselva Eco Lodge is the most beautiful place to stay on Chocó. It is so peaceful, pristine, polished and confortable! The place is new and with an exquisite zen feeling, surrounded by jungle, singing birds and ocean sounds. It invites you to connect with all the good energy and relaxes your spirit. Hale and Sergio are simply the best hosts you can have, very welcoming, informative about things to do and very heart warming people. They also cook like the gods! I work in the tourism industry and have seen a lot of places there. Don´t doubt it, this is a genuine treasure.
