We really liked this hotel. The room was big and comfortable. The staff was really nice. they did not speak english but had a recorder which would translate from chinese to english. There is a common washing machine so we could do laundry. They also helped us to organize our stay in the park and gave us a map with the itinerary for each day. the hotel is very close to the west entrance of the park, only 6 minutes by taxi.

We had a beautiful stay in this hotel. The host made us feel like at home and gave us the warmest welcome. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, delicious food! Would definitely come here again.

We liked everything in this hotel! The owner Chen, his brother Lee and Coco were all accommodating and really helpful! They assisted us in booking the tickets to the zhangjiajie park, Tianmen cave and glass bridge so we will not have any trouble. They made the tour so easy when they explained everything on detail.. zhangjiajie park is a 20min walk from their hotel, while the bus station to glass bridge is 10min walk. Room was also spacious and clean! Their hotel is highly recommended. Close to everything!

Staying in No.5 Lodge was a great experience for us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They did all possible for our comfort staying. Our room was very clean and cozy and in fact turned out to be better than in the photos. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. We were impressed with the atmosphere of hospitality and cordiality of the place. Special thanks to the hotel manager Frankie. He did all possible to make us feel at home and greatly helped us with all tickets to the National park, routes around and other our travel arrangements. Each member of the hotel team tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Free transfer to the park and back upon request was a nice bonus to the stating. We also liked very much the hotel restaurant. The choice and quality were at high level. After dinner we enjoyed some wine at bar relaxing after long walks. If you get tired from tracking you can stay for a master class or for a tea ceremony. We opted for the latter and enjoyed the traditional Chinese tea made by the very interesting and charismatic tea master. She explained some traditions and showed how to prepare different sorts of tea. Of course we bought some to try to repeat at home :) And if you show sincere interest maybe you will get a nice cat ;)

I had a wonderful stay in Zhangjiajie! The location was absolutely perfect, offering a clear and stunning view of Tianmen Mountain. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! The location was not only quiet and peaceful, overlooking a beautiful landscape, but also very convenient. It was just a short distance from the Tianmen Mountain cable car, making it easy to explore the area. The airport and train station were also easily accessible, which made travelling to and from the property very simple. It’s the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. Our hosts, David and his wife, were exceptionally kind and generous. They made us feel truly welcome from the start and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even shared their Autumn Festival celebration with us, prepared a lovely breakfast, and thoughtfully arranged a taxi for our departure. Their home was beautiful, and their warm hospitality made the entire stay incredibly pleasant, leaving us with wonderful and lasting memories.

I am very satisfied with the accommodation experience. We could communicate with Long Jing about the daily itinerary every day. She picked us up and dropped us off every day. We had a pleasant stay for many days. There was also a free laundry room and freshly ground coffee. For the first time, we had freshly ground coffee which I love. The breakfast was very abundant and different every day. We chose to have dinner at the guesthouse every night because we were too hungry at noon in the scenic area. I am very happy and hope to be able to help you.
