The host was extremely friendly and helpful. At first, there was a problem with the bed, but he responded quickly and warmly, and even helped us change to a new room. Later, we accidentally left a wallet in the room after checkout, and he kindly returned it to us in person. Truly one of the best hosts we’ve encountered!

The City Chalet(s) are located close (walking distance) to one of the two train stations (in this case the West station), so if you come by train you don't have to walk far anymore. For people coming by car, there is one parking spot per appartment available as well. There's a little store right outside of the chalet and a somewhat bigger one within a 2 minute walk. Everything is really close by.

We were welcomed by Christian who was able to quickly made us feel comfortable. He also gave some good advice about what we should visit in the area. The apartment is big, clean, cosy and with a very nice view. Easily accessible from Interlaken by car and there is also a bus, every hour, that takes you from Habkern to interlaken. We really loved our stay, thank you Christian!

    No doubt that this chalet was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to Europe. We stayed 6 nights but wanted to stay 6 months. Clean and very well laid out apartment. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen and 1 1/2 baths with a great shower. But, the most amazing thing is the VIEW. Waking up to the Alps and cool air. Breathtaking. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Also, the location is super convenient...right near the train station.
