Such a beautiful garden with a jacuzzi without extra charge just needs to be booked in advance. The breakfast included various types of meal, everyone finds what they like. The staff is very friendly and helpful, some of them are from our country :) They gave us advice where to rent a bike, where to eat and so on. I wish to come back to this lovely place.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. At first, there was a problem with the bed, but he responded quickly and warmly, and even helped us change to a new room. Later, we accidentally left a wallet in the room after checkout, and he kindly returned it to us in person. Truly one of the best hosts we’ve encountered!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable — everything was just as expected, if not better. The location was amazing, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to nearby attractions. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the overall experience was exceptional. The City Chalet(s) are located close (walking distance) to one of the two train stations (in this case the West station), so if you come by train you don't have to walk far anymore. For people coming by car, there is one parking spot per appartment available as well. There's a little store right outside of the chalet and a somewhat bigger one within a 2 minute walk. Everything is really close by.

We were welcomed by Christian who was able to quickly made us feel comfortable. He also gave some good advice about what we should visit in the area. The apartment is big, clean, cosy and with a very nice view. Easily accessible from Interlaken by car and there is also a bus, every hour, that takes you from Habkern to interlaken. We really loved our stay, thank you Christian!

    This is a magical chalet in a magical location - loved it. It's at the mouth of the beautiful steep sided trough valley that inspired Tolkien's Middle Earth. It's full of family history that makes you feel connected ! You are welcomed with local meats and cheese that you can buy. Kids will love the mezzanine beds tucked away up wooden ladders!

    Beautiful chalet with well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and bed, and a fabulous fireplace that kept us toasty warm. The wi-fi was fast and whilst we didn’t use, there was a bbq and sauna too. Was lovely listening to the water of the stream nearby at night. The host was very friendly and accomodating. We would be happy to stay again next time we return to Lauterbrunnen.
