The safari itself was unforgettable, with amazing wildlife sightings and stay inside the yala national park. in the night time we show leopard around us.with the many of animals sounds actually we didn't sleep, it unusual for us.this is the same like we stayed in Serengeti National park in Kenya.same feeling i got in here. This is the ultimate way to experience Yala, national park inside night with animals and we highly recommend it!

There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

Barbecue dinner is provided around a campfire. Free WiFi is available in the public areas of the property.

Family tents are provided based on requirement. All tents are fitted with comfortable beds, mattresses and pillows. Free drinking water will be provided. All bathrooms are equipped with a Hot & Cold shower. We love the tents! Is actually a very juce experience to add to the safari, to sleep in the national park, you a pretty close to block 1. The staff were amazing, very professional, friendly and nice. The food, we tried the food a la Carte too. They also clean your room and tidy up it every morning.

The evenings meal under the nights sky could not have been more beautiful and our tents were super comfy. It was a very special experience and as a family we loved it and will be back. A car rental service is available at the campground. I agree with the previous reviews. The location is absolutely spectacular. Most definitely the most scenic view we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Its also very private and we had the beach and dunes virtually to ourselves and the other couple that were in the Dune camp. The food and the service was great. The tents are a bit dated, but the beds are very comfortable and all have nets. This is not super luxury but the price is also much less than the super luxury campsites. We would highly recommend this place. They also arranged the safari for us. We have heard horror stories re the jeep drivers at Yala but the driver they arranged was very good and mindful of not disturbing the wildlife.

Free private parking is available and the campground also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Rivosen Camp Yala Safari was awesome! Manjula and Buddika smile’s were very contagious, always making sure we had everything we needed. They have few meal package options, and I highly recommend selecting one, because Buddika cooked multiple Sri Lankan dishes (vegetarian options available) for us and each of them were absolutely delicious. The camp is situated at the border of Yala National Park, therefore during our stay, we saw different wildlife crossing the campground. The location was also very convenient as it is only 15 minutes from the entrance gate of the park. Manjula kindly helped us to organize a Safari tour for the following morning. During our fresh up shower, we had many eyes watching us, as cute frogs and friendly geckos were co-habituating the bathroom. The bed was very comfy and the hotel-like linen were as white as we ever seen in Sri Lanka so far. This place was the perfect little nature retreat, and we loved everything about it. We were spoiled with delicious food, kindness from the owners and an amazing wildlife experience. Manjula and Buddika will do everything to make you happy.

I had a wonderful experience at Yala Way Nature Villa. It provided us with excellent family-friendly services. Located in a very quiet environment, this is a great place for those who love the environment. Delicious local food was served and we were able to spend a beautiful night with barbecue. The place has been renovated with a new look and is very clean. That night spent under a starry sky made our lives beautiful.
