We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more. Cleonie is a fantastic host, so helpful and friendly. The overall accommodation has everything you could want, including a decent size fridge, incredibly comfy bed, a little TV and WiFi as well as plenty of pots, plates etc to cook with. It is an amazing location, close to supermarkets and some of the most beautiful parts of the Lakes but is a real tranquil spot - enjoy the hot tub, once you get the hang of it (thanks to Cleonie for showing us to load it full of wood). The best part - the resident goats!!

3 Bedroom Modern Caravan Sleeps up to 8 ligger i Millom i Cumbria, med Muncaster Castle bare 26 kilometer unna. Rob was very friendly, Caravan was very spacious and clean, Rob even left us a little welcome gift on arrival.

Hill Of Oaks ligger i Windermere i Cumbria, og tilbyr overnatting med tilgang til gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. The Lakeside Glamping pod was really well thought out. There was a fully stocked 'kitchen' (utensils, mixing bowls etc) with 2 electric hobs and a microwave. Welcome pack with 2 mini bottles of wine, and bare essentials (biscuits, mini milk jiggers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate) presented nicely on the table. Bathroom contained mini toiletries like a hotel room would, and there was a small washing up pack by the sink (sponge, washing up liquid, 2 x tea towels and a cloth). If you arrive late and night and haven't been to the shops it was these little finishing touches that were lovely. There was also at least 6 USB sockets in addition to plugs, as well as a torch. Lots of local information in a folder including walks and stile free walks/trails for the less mobile.

Location was amazing. The hut was very clean and cosy and warm. The shower was the best shower I’ve ever had anywhere. Very nice place as base for exploring.

Howbeck Lodge ligger 28 kilometer fra Derwentwater og har en hage, en terrasse og romservice. Kjøleskap finnes også tilgjengelig, i tillegg til kaffemaskin og vannkoker. Location was a little out of the way, but it was such a peaceful place to stay. This one cow seemed to have been cranky and never stopped mooing overnight, but I ended up liking the cow sounds in the end!

Beautiful location, the host was so helpful, friendly and accommodating for our booking on short notice. We will definitely come back again!
