A little paradise nestled between the entrance of the park and the start of the hike to La Piscina and Cabo San Juan. This place is perfect if like me, you just land at Santa Marta after a long flight or if you arrive a bit late in the park and don’t want to rush into the start of the hike. The tents are comfortable and right in front of the beach (forbidden to swim in) with an amazing sunset. All facilities are clean and pretty good. The pool is nice for relaxing. And last but not least, the staff are super nice!

Kimara Tayrona Hostel is situated in El Zaino and has a pool with a view and pool views. The property features garden and inner courtyard views, and is 2 km from Castilletes Beach.

Staff was very friendly, location really close to the gate. They picked us up from the entrance with no extra charge.
