This is an extraordinary place. Nestled in the hills, lots of greenery, cows and horses on the fields, it’s a little paradise. But what makes this place really unique, is the owner Doris. A genuine sweet and kind person that goes above and beyond to accommodate you and ensure you have a good stay. I was supposed to stay here 2 nighs but ended up staying 6 nights and loved every minute of it. I used the place to explore the Cocora Valley and the surroundings and everytime I came back parking in the driveway it was like coming home. And Doris is an exellent cook, too. Very good breakfast and you can order dinner too from a varied menu. I loved the grilled trout, the barbeque ribs and even the spaghetti bolignese was delicious. I will miss this place a lot.

The nature there is beautiful. The owner is really nice and helpful. The ranch is located really close to Salento (bus stop right in front of the ranch). I highly recommend horse riding at the ranch.

The hospitality at Cantaros was above all our expectations. Rare beauty, excellent food, and a calm and perfect atmosphere. On the last day of our stay we didn't feel well at all and the hosts took care of every little detail for us, including driving, calling and talking to everyone needed. Rafael was an excellent host. The cabana on his property is entirely built from recycled materials and has a lot of character. He was extremely attentive, responsive, and friendly, and we joined his family for some Christmas celebrations down the hill. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed watching birds while eating breakfast on the balcony each morning (Andean Motmots, Tropical Screech Owls, and countless species of tanagers). Easy access to Otun Quimbaya. Others have noted that there was no hot water, but the shower works fine, it just requires a little finesse.
