this place was so cool! love the camp site, love the tents, the buffet food was good, the cafe at the back of the camp was beautiful. we took the jeep tour and it was very fun and interesting.

Hasan Zawaideh Camp is set in a great location. We could not have picked a better camp. The meal was seriously well done and the dinning area was well kept - it was very clean. The location, the view, the staff, the food I honestly give a 10/10. Mr Hasan himself was very friendly, approachable and hospitable. He is such a great host and made the stay a great experience. Lunch was not a part of our package and Mr Hasan allowed myself and my daughter to have lunch on the house. Thank you Mr Hasan. I stayed at this camp early March 2023 (Martian tent). At night, it was cold as it is a desert. We were, however, given enough warm bed linen. I was so worried about the water in the morning for a shower and to my greatest surprise the water was hot/warm (what a relief). We did the 4 x 4 for 3 hours, an amazing experience. Camel ride experience was amazing too. I really do not always do reviews but, I had to say as I had such a wonderful experience, one in which I will never forget. I would suggest, if you can and do stay over night do the 4 x 4 ride and watch the sunset. Then, do the camel ride the next morning and watch the sunrise. Both are unforgettable experiences. Great location on the mountain. Spacious dining and lounging area. Delicious buffet. In the evening there was traditional music, meat baked in a pit, the night starry sky. I had to leave in the evening, and they left me at the campsite, where I could rest and take a walk nearby in the desert. The guide Mahmud took me on a jeep tour. He showed me everything stated in the program, recommended the best views for photos, in the evening of the next day he came for me and took me to the bus. Many thanks to all the staff.

People were very kind and smiley. They served us what we needed and their rooms were clean and tidy. It was a memorable night and experience. We danced and sat around the fire it was a lot of fun.

A perfect, personalised experience that is one of the best stays I've ever had- if you are looking for the Wadi Rum experience, this is it, of all of the camps I'm glad I found this gem! The communication, service, help and accommodation were amazing. You feel like you are on another planet away from other pods with all the amenities you could want, and it's truly a hidden gem in the quieter, more expansive view of northern Wadi Rum- there are only four pods which adds to the feeling of being isolated in a quiet, brilliant landscape. The room was incredible - panoramic views, warm showers, comfy beds and heating/AC, as well as an overall commitment to quality and service befitting a much more luxury experience were available- you really don't want more here for an authentic experience. Food was great - with a BBQ grill on our last day being a highlight. Due to a lack of light pollution (unlike the more central Wadi Rum area), starlight was perfect and you could easily watch the night sky at night from your room or outside, with no trace of anyone else around magnifying the experience. Tours were available and Eid and his cousin were very helpful throughout who led them and made the experience seamless- we did a 8 hour tour of south and north Wadi Rum and our preferences were accommodated, enjoying walks and exploring arches, ruins and the beautiful desert, as well as getting to see the sunrise and sunset. The food was great and they accommodated our arrival/departure with a pickup and drop off service. I can't recommend this place enough - you feel looked after and welcome, able to chill out and enjoy the stars or enjoy the company of the hosts. Eid runs this site with a very specific focus on personal needs within reason to make sure you make the most of the experience- for any traveller this is perfect!

Quiet and beautiful scenery with beautiful stars from the camp and the rooms, excellente convenient location of the camp (road that leads to it) . Very welcoming, sweet and generous people and wonderful hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious with very tasty Arabic exotic spices, the meat tender! The only place that offers you free coffee, tea and water. The rooms were very clean and well furnished, very nice bathroom! Best camp we ever went to Thank you!

The family is very warm and food is delicious. They did also fireworks for New Year's Eve!

What an amazing place to truly relax off the grid. Food was incredible with a feast of salads, dips and traditionally cooked meat and rice. Staff were incredibly friendly and helped organise activities including camel ride. Can’t wait to return!
