BelgiumWe had everything arranged with the host in advance taxi rides, a quad tour so all we had to do was relax and enjoy the stunning rocky desert.
The host was super welcoming, and the tent was amazing with a view that looked straight out of a movie.
We caught an incredible sunset, followed by a cozy campfire dinner that was absolutely delicious.
Such a peaceful spot to unwind after the chaos of Marrakech.
Loved every minute of it!

AustriaCamp Chameleon is a wonderful place to find peace and tranquility in the desert. We stayed here only one night but enjoyed every moment. When we arrived we met the host Zack who was extremely kind and friendly throughout the entire stay. He offered us tea and showed us our tent which was spacious and comfortable.
Dinner was absolutely fantastic with truly traditional Moroccan food made in the traditional way. At dinner we were accompanied by the camp's sweet dogs and cat which made everything even more lively. The night was cold (it's still January after all) but there's gas heating in the tent so we enjoyed a good night sleep.
Waking up in the desert is an incredible thing and the silence was fantastic. We enjoyed a rich breakfast (a perfect shakshuka with bread and tea) and then took a 1 hour camel ride to explore the area.
We highly recommend Camp Chameleon for anyone who wants an authentic and unique experience. We send our warm regards to Zack and the team and hope to meet them again in the future.

Great views - some of the desert is a bit bleak but the landscape here is lovely. There’s a sunset/sunrise peak you can walk up to with uninterrupted views. Great that there is a fridge in the room so you can bring your own food/drinks. Reception offered a buggy to transport luggage to tents.
