I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this place. Although the pictures are very accurate, I felt that everything was better in person. Each unit is pretty private and has a nice ground level terrace, perfect for relaxing. The room was really clean and the overall environment tranquil. We also felt safe here, as there is someone always on guard and also cleaning the property. In addition, I enjoyed the beach setup with beds and cushions with covers! The welcome smoothie still goes down as one of the best that I had during my holiday. The hotel can help organize transport for various needs.

I loved the location and the people. Mandy is exceptional, as is her partner. They made our stay one of the best we had in Sri Lanka.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and views of garden, Pearl Bungalow Trincomalee is located in Trincomalee, 700 metres from Uppuveli beach. First thought when I entered my room - "balcony goals" 😅 But besides that, everything was perfect! I was reading comments before and expected some shortcomings, but actually, everything was just perfect (so, I can reassure you - they do care about feedback and everything that I read in the comments was fixed). So, it was actually perfect stay that I didn't expect. It's super close to the beach, room is extremely clean and with everything you might need. Well, water flow is pretty weak, but that's really really minor thing. Staff were super friendly. There's a kitchen where you can put your food, but also many nice places to eat just outside. I really recommend it! (Also, I very recommend "Rangan snorkeling" who is right next to this place).
