Our host Ravidu went out of his way to make our experience and safari a great one. A real highlight of our trip. The rooms were bright, comfortable and cool in the humidity! I really recommend the dinner, it was delicious and really generous. The safari was great value for money and as others have said, away from the crowds. I will never forget seeing our first elephant with no one else around and being completely peaceful, listening to the sounds of the forest. Ravidu is very knowledgeable and saw many animals and birds, going out of his way to make sure we saw as many as possible. Breakfast a few hours later was delicious.

The view, the service, the food, the pool, the sounds (especially at sunset when the jungle comes alive and you hear birds singing like you've never heard before) – simply everything is a breathtaking experience. Sometimes you can also hear the monkeys. You have a bungalow all to yourself and can enjoy the jungle experience completely undisturbed. There's nothing to complain about. And I still can't get enough of the homemade ice tea.

The location is remote feels like living in a forest reserve, so much bird song and local wildlife. Very peaceful. Food was superb. Staff welcomed you will a lovely fruit drink grown in garden. Early breakfast was excellent. The local wild swim pool was dry but there is a small concrete rustic pool at the bungalow excellent for a cooling dip
