We felt completely at home during our three-day stay. It was warm, with no insects or mold, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. I truly recommend this place. Our stay at Namadi Heights Bungalow was so wonderful, we decided to extend our stay! The room is uniquely decorated with antiques and comfortable furniture, the bathroom and shower are modern (hot and cold and great water pressure), and the AC is new and works great. The room and bathroom windows look out onto the forest reserve. The hosts Nishi & Bhandula are fantastic, and made us feel right at home and welcome. There is fast wifi and local travel books in the room, and the hosts are very knowledgeable. During our stay we opted for the breakfast and dinner services and these went above and beyond! We had western and Sri Lankan food, both were delicious. We truly felt like we were at home, with a home cooked meal, and we felt treated like family. I will stay here everytime I come through Kandy. Also the view from the private balcony is gorgeous and has a porch swing!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kandy Siebel Bungalow, hosted by Anoma and her daughter. Although my stay was brief—just one night—I was thoroughly impressed. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly and offered a delicious dinner.My room was beautifully upgraded to feature one large double bed and a single bed, perfect for families or groups. The stunning mountain view from my room was a highlight, and the fast, stable Wi-Fi made my stay even more enjoyable.The location is excellent, just a 23-minute walk from the train station, in a lovely area with good bus connections. Anoma's kindness and helpfulness truly made this homestay a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Feels like home! The location is just fabulous if you have your own transport. The service was amazing, Rathne the host did literally everything for us. He is doorman, poolman, waiter, accountant, plumber, cleaner, gardener, guide, mosquito catcher, sportsman,… We had a marvellous stay. The spring water filled swimming pool is just lovely and the food really delicious. Rathne’s wife makes your dinner on demand and she’s very skilled. The spice garden is a hidden gem and we felt so much at ease. There’s also a small playground and badminton field. Prices are fair and transparent. We would recommend the bungalow to everyone in search for a place you will feel at home immediately.
